Nicholas Alexander Jones

Founder & Manager

I am a well qualified and experienced translator and interpreter, holding an MA in Translation with Language Technology from Swansea University (MATLT), as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Simultaneous Interpreting from Trágora Formación, Granada, Spain. I speak British English (native), Spanish (fluent), Portuguese (near-native), French (higher intermediate), Catalan (basic) and German (basic).

I am a dedicated linguist and bring professionalism and commitment to the Business, as well as a willingness to mentor and coach non-native speakers translating and interpreting into English. I also offer translation and proofreading services.

In the UK, I have worked as a Public Service Interpreter for eight years in the fields of Local Government, Law and Health. I also have experience of working with businesses in the private sector in the UK, Spain and Colombia. This has given me an insight into how business is conducted and, therefore, I am able to offer Business Consultancy Services to companies wishing to enter new markets in these countries.

I have travelled widely and enjoy watching foreign films, singing Karaoke and translating songs.
